Salads, the ultimate health food to aid weight loss: NOT!!!

Salads are great and ideal for weight watchers but this is only if they were prepared lean and mean. This means that they have all the right proportions of vitamins and minerals along with enough vegetables to make you feel full without the additional carbs. And the dressing, everybody loves additional dressing but be careful if you do not prepare your own dressing for you might end up with more fat in the form of dairy and other derivatives contained within the said dressing. Off the shelves dressings have versions in low fat and fat free forms so read the labels if unsure. Also, try to learn how to understand the nutrition facts part on the label so you get a better understanding of just what you eat.
