Artificial Sweeteners – Not so good for weight watchers

sweeteners.jpgResearch has found that artificial sweeteners are causing more people to gain weight rather than loosing it. The problem stems from their ability to circumvent the natural sugar detection methods of the human body which is sort of confused with the substance that is sweet tasting yet does not have the chemical signature of naturally occurring sugars. The effect, the person ends up eating more thus taking in more calories that it should which could lead to obesity and other complications. Try to stick to natural foods that have natural sugars. You can use sugar but try to cut back and refrain from using artificial ones till more research is done.
